Q: How often should a Northern Beaches home be cleaned?

Ocean-front glass every six to eight weeks and render every six to nine months; lagoon-side homes every nine to twelve months; plateau homes need gutters twice a year and walls every 18 to 24 months.

Q: Do you follow Northern Beaches Council stormwater rules?

Yes, on every job: drains bunded, rinse water captured or sent to garden, sealed and commercial sites vacuum-recovered.

Q: Can you work while we are away?

Yes. Many Pittwater and Palm Beach clients are weekenders. We agree access and water ahead, message at start and finish, and send photos the same afternoon.

Q: Do you clean strata buildings?

Yes. Priya Nair runs strata and commercial programs from Manly and Queenscliff to Dee Why, Collaroy, Warriewood and Mona Vale.

Q: Is the work guaranteed?

If anything we quoted is not clean at handover, we return within seven days and redo it free. We carry $20 million public liability.

The Prestige Standard was founded in 2015 by Nathan G after six years in heritage sandstone restoration. The Northern Beaches division brings the same people, equipment, insurance and written guarantee to the peninsula, and works nowhere else.

The Northern Beaches is unusually hard on buildings. Ocean-front homes from Queenscliff to Whale Beach take salt every afternoon; homes around Manly, Curl Curl, Dee Why and Narrabeen lagoons sit in damp, still air; the Pittwater slopes live under spotted gum canopy on soft sandstone; and the plateau suburbs back onto national park. One method cannot suit all of that, so we plan every job around the conditions in your suburb.

From Nathan. The same rendered house needs its walls washed twice as often in Queenscliff as in Belrose, and its gutters twice as often in Belrose as in Queenscliff. Getting that right is most of what good exterior maintenance on the beaches comes down to.
